The construction project of Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region belongs to the group of important national projects, with a total length of 112.8km (including 58.2km through Hanoi, the remaining 9.7km is the route connecting to Hanoi - Ha Long Expressway and the part passing through Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces).
The total preliminary investment of the project is 85,813 billion VND.
The Ring Road 4 project of the Capital Region has 35.3km passing through Bac Ninh, including 4 districts and towns: Bac Ninh City, Thuan Thanh Town and Que Vo, Gia Binh District.
Bac Ninh province sets a goal of resolutely completing the entire project in 2025, in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister when visiting and working in Bac Ninh in September 2024.
To ensure the above goal, the locality has accelerated site clearance (GPMB). Up to now, the entire Ring Road 4 project through Bac Ninh still has about 10 hectares of residential land, land sold without authority, and assets on land that have not been cleared, concentrated in 3 localities: Thuan Thanh town, Que Vo and Bac Ninh city.
Chairman of Thuan Thanh Town People's Committee Nguyen Van Thuoc affirmed that the locality will continue to mobilize the entire political system to participate, flexibly apply all mechanisms and policies in the direction of being most beneficial to the people, determined to hand over the site to investors and contractors seamlessly in March, in accordance with the province's direction.
In Bac Ninh city and Que Vo town, right after the Lunar New Year, the locality has actively promoted and mobilized people to voluntarily move assets and promptly hand over land to investors.
It is known that for sections of the route that have been cleared, contractors are speeding up construction to ensure progress on schedule.
The Department of Transport of Bac Ninh said that immediately after the site is handed over in the remaining areas, it will direct investors to urge contractors to work through holidays and Tet, ensuring progress and quality, contributing to opening up new development space for Bac Ninh in the journey to become a centrally-run city.
