Earlier, on the evening of 6.2, a chaos between two groups of young people happened on Dien Bien Phu Street (Chinh Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City). The case caused disturbance in the city center. A total of about 10 people participated in the fight, leading to security and disorder and traffic congestion.
The incident began when the group of 6 young people including Nguyen Xuan Phong, Nguyen Doan Tong Hoang Jimmy, Le Phuoc Hiep, Truong Bao Tam, Le Thanh Sang and Dinh Quang Long (born in 2006, resident of Thanh Khe district) on the way attend Phong's birthday party. When traveling on Le Duan street towards Dien Bien Phu, this group met a group of 4 other young people including Phan Tan Gia Hung, Tang Quoc Minh Hung, Tran Anh Tuan (born in 2007) and a teenager named T.A.D (15 10 months old) traveling on 2 motorbikes.
Phong's group took a provocative action by flattening and crossing the car of the T.A.D group, then increased the throttle to flee. Not giving up, T.A.D's group immediately chased. During the chase, Hung's car carried Tuan close to Hiep and Long's cars. Tuan then pulled out the waistband to beat Long. Seeing his friend was attacked, Phong, Jimmy, Tam and Sang immediately turned around. The whole group used a helmet to make weapons, rushing to beat the group of T.A.D, injuring T.A.D. During the chaos, Phong was also returned by the opponent group. The fight took place in the middle of the road causing disturbance, obstructing traffic.
The police of Thanh Khe district has prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and arrested 9 young people in two groups for "causing public disorder". Particularly in the case of T.A.D, due to the age of not enough criminal liability, the police agency is considering administrative handling.
