On May 6, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Nam Dinh Provincial Department of Health confirmed that on May 4, an employee of Nam Dinh General Hospital was suddenly assaulted by a young man while working at the Emergency Resuscitation Department.
After the incident, the police force worked with the people involved. The Department of Health has requested the hospital to specifically report the above incident.
Previously, a video was circulated on social media recording the incident at around 7:55 a.m. on May 4, at the Resuscitation Department of Nam Dinh General Hospital, a young man wearing a black shirt repeatedly hit a medical staff member's head and face. After many people tried to stop him, the young man stopped.
In addition to the above incident, social networks have been spreading the story of Nam Dinh General Hospital being accused of paying enough money to provide emergency care for patients for many days, making many people upset.
Currently, the hospital has suspended 3 doctors and 2 nurses, to serve the verification and clarification of the case that people reflected on social networks were required to "pay enough new emergency money" for the baby in a traffic accident. These people are related to the crew on 3.5 (the day the baby has a traffic accident to emergency).
