On January 3, social media shared a clip of two people holding weapons and fighting with a group of people sitting, causing a stir in public opinion.
The incident was recorded by a camera at 10:39 a.m. on January 2. Two young men were riding a motorbike on Long Phuoc Street, Long Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City (HCMC). When they arrived at house number 460 Long Phuoc Street, the two young men pulled out weapons and attacked a number of people sitting there.
The group of people holding chairs protested. One of them fell down and was then beaten by two young men.
According to verification, Thu Duc City Police have detained two young men holding weapons for investigation.
After the incident, one person was beaten to the point of brain injury and is being treated in hospital.
It is known that before that, a man had a conflict with a group of people sitting there, then called two young men to bring weapons to beat the group.
