On November 30, Dien Ban Town Police, Quang Nam Province, announced that they had prosecuted and temporarily detained 10 suspects for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".
The defendants who were temporarily detained include: Phan Van Khanh, Nguyen Cuong, Nguyen Ba Lai, Luong Van Tien, Pham Ngoc Thanh, Vo Nhu Quoc, Dang Van Vuong, Huynh Tan Hieu, Ly Xuan Quang, Pham Chau Thinh, aged from 20 to 33, all residing in Dien Ban town.
Previously, after attending the wedding party of groom V.C.T, in Khuc Luy block, Dien Minh ward, Dien Ban town, the 10 defendants above used beer bottles, bricks, and sticks to beat and injure a number of young people and the groom's family members.
After the investigation and verification process, based on the collected documents and evidence, the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Ban Town Police has initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and has so far detained these 10 subjects for further investigation and clarification.
