On September 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Ho Chi Minh City Police informed that they are investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Nguyen Thi Dinh street, Cat Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The incident happened at about 6:40 am on August 26. At this time, Mr. T.G.H. (20 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City) was driving a silver-black motorbike on Nguyen Thi Dinh street in the direction from Cat Lai ferry to My Thuy intersection roundabout.
While moving, the motorbike driven by Mr. H. collided with a hard median strip separating the motorbike lane and the car lane.
After the collision, Mr. H. fell into the car lane. At this moment, a tractor-trailer driven by Mr. T.V. T. (37 years old) drove up and collided with the young man. As a result, Mr. H. died on the spot.
During the investigation, functional agencies checked data from the dashcam of the tractor-trailer and discovered a motorbike with characteristics similar to the Honda LEAD, white or gray, license plate not yet identified. There were 3 people on the vehicle.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, the motorbike and 3 people above were identified as being related to the incident. After the accident occurred, these people left the scene.
The Investigation Police Agency of Ho Chi Minh City Police requests people if they know information about the motorbike, 3 people in the car or have data and information related to the diễn biến of the accident, to provide it to the investigating agency for verification.
