A man in Hanoi, wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts, chased a girl on a motorbike at night. After that, this person took off all his clothes in the middle of the road, causing public outrage.
A clip about a minute long appeared on social media, recording the shocking scene mentioned above. The incident is said to have occurred on the evening of June 5 at Lane 515, Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Vinh Phuc Ward (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi).
The clip shows a man wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts chasing a girl riding a motorbike. Not stopping there, this person also took off all his clothes in the middle of the road, causing offense.
According to the image from security cameras, the man followed the girl to the beginning of the alley. When stopped, the subject suddenly stripped off the clothes, approached the girl about 10 meters, then turned away, wearing clothes and leaving as if nothing had happened.
The entire act was recorded by a camera and quickly spread on social media. The online community and local people expressed outrage, saying that this was a act of sexual harassment and asking the authorities to take action soon to deter.
On June 7, speaking to the press, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Lan - Chairman of Vinh Phuc Ward People's Committee - confirmed the incident that occurred on the evening of June 5 and said that the ward police are searching for the identity of the man with the above offensive behavior.
According to Ms. Lan, through initial verification, the subject did not reside in the area of lane 515. The authorities are expanding the search to neighboring areas, and closely coordinating with the District Police to track down the subject and strictly handle him according to the law.
