Over the past months, households in Mang Thit district have used domestic water from cooperatives to supply clean water in the 2 -year -long shallow water, which has been encountered with water residue, strong odor such as bleach, along with stopping water supplying regularly both during the day and night.
This situation has been seriously affecting the daily life of local people.
Mr. Nguyen Vinh Nguyen, a household in My Phuoc commune, Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province, said he traded drinking water and snacks for more than a year, but recently preparing was very difficult because the water was weak, sometimes not available.
According to Mr. Nguyen, on average, each month has 2 to 3 times the domestic water is opaque and has a strange smell, like the smell of chlorine used for disinfection, making people worried.
"And workers overtime late at night, there is no water to bathe and cook because the calendar stops supplying water from 22:30 to 3 - 4 am. The traders always need water sources early to prepare for sales when it is bright," Mr. Nguyen urgently shared.

In the same situation, Ms. Bui Thi Cam Van in My Phuoc commune said that whenever the family cooks or bathes is not assured because sometimes the smell of bleach is very unpleasant. Conditions of water supply often occur.
"Hopefully the situation of stopping water supply at night is no longer available for us to have clean water to use at any time, as well as take measures to treat so that there is no more water, smell," Ms. Van added.
Talking to labor, Mr. Nguyen Van here - Director of Cooperative Cooperative supply Cai Cai 2, Mang Thit District - said that the cooperative is currently providing domestic water to more than 1,300 households, and the feedback of the people is completely grounded.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van here, the main cause comes from objective factors such as the pipe broken due to the boat collision when the river water is low, forced to suspend water supply for repair.

When the pipeline breaks, mud in water overflows into the system, causing opaque and smell. Water after sterilizing with chlorine takes a few hours to fly smells, but because people require early granting, there may be an unpleasant chlorine smell.
"In the coming time, the cooperative is committed to trying to overcome the current incidents, and seeking long -term solutions to minimize the impact of objective factors, ensuring stable clean water for people in Mang Thit district," he added.
