Ngo Quyen District organized a draw to select resettlement locations, allocate residential land with land use fees to households and individuals whose land was recovered, and implement Component Project 2 - Land recovery, compensation, and site clearance support under the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification in the surrounding area.
13 households participated in the draw to arrange resettlement and allocate residential land with land use fees, including 1 resettlement plot for main households, 11 resettlement quotas for secondary households and 1 resettlement plot for land use fees. The resettlement land fund is located at the Resettlement Area of the Investment Project to build a resettlement area and urban embellishment in the area of lane 226 Le Lai, May Chai ward, Ngo Quyen district.
The arrangement of resettlement and land allocation with collection of money must ensure publicity, transparency, fairness and objectivity. Households that are arranged for resettlement and are allocated residential land can only draw once. In case the land user does not come to draw ( absentee for no reason), Gia Vien Ward People's Committee will send a representative to draw instead (ensuring publicity and transparency).
The district prioritizes people whose land is recovered and handed over the site soon ( handing over the site 180 days before the date the District People's Committee issues the notice of land recovery) and people with meritorious services to the revolution who are drawn into a group position much higher.
Households and individuals conduct drawing lots to determine the location of land allocation in each group. The drawing order is determined according to the time of site handover (in case of site handover on the same day, households and individuals with a larger area of recovered land will be drawn in advance). In case a household or individual is eligible to be allocated resettlement land or authorized residential land to another person for drawing on behalf of another person, there must be an authorization contract according to the provisions of law.
