Specifically, the Do Son Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board continues to organize the payment of land clearance support funds (phase 2) to related households to implement the Project to demolish the old 5-story apartment building and renovate urban technical infrastructure in alley 75 Ly Thanh Tong.
To date, 15/21 households have received support funds with a total amount of 681 million VND out of the approved total budget of 1.115 billion VND. The majority of households have agreed and committed to relocate when new accommodation is arranged according to regulations, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.
In the coming time, Do Son Ward People's Committee will continue to coordinate to complete procedures, soon approve plans to arrange new accommodation for households, and strive to complete relocation work before the rainy and storm season.
The project to clear ground, demolish the 5-story old apartment building and build technical infrastructure for urban embellishment in alley 75 Ly Thanh Tong is a project of particular importance, aimed at relocating households living in seriously degraded apartment buildings, which pose a risk of unsafety, especially during the rainy and storm season; and at the same time creating conditions for households to be arranged with new, safer and more stable accommodation. After completion, the project will contribute to completing technical infrastructure, improving the living environment and embellishing the urban appearance in the ward.
