Encouraging bright examples of good academic performance
On June 17, information from the Nghe An Provincial Association for Promoting Education said that the Association had just organized a commendation for excellent students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted - a school that continues to play a core role in the province's leading education, where the spirit of learning is constantly spreading through each generation of students.
At the closing ceremony and summary of the 2025–2026 school year, the Provincial Association for Promoting Education awarded prizes to national excellent students, teachers and the school's excellent student fostering council with a total budget of nearly 137 million VND. This is a timely recognition, and also a spread of learning motivation and talent training throughout the Nghe An education sector.
In the 2025–2026 school year, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted continues to affirm its leading position with 113 national excellent student awards - the highest achievement ever, including 10 first prizes and 40 second prizes. Notably, 100% of students who won national prizes in Nghe An come from this school, showing the strong spread of the quality of advanced education.
Not only stopping at the domestic arena, school students also spread Vietnamese intelligence internationally with many outstanding achievements such as Tran Thi Khanh Trang's International Russian Olympic Bronze Medal, or Nguyen Hoang Phuong being selected for the national team to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). These achievements continue to spread pride in the "school land of Nghe".
Along with students, the teaching staff also contributes to spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity in teaching. On this occasion, 3 teachers were awarded the Third-class Labor Medal and 3 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in training and fostering excellent students.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Nghe An Provincial Association for Promoting Education emphasized that the achievements of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted are not only the school's own achievement but also an important highlight, with a strong spread in the entire provincial education sector.
Spreading the movement to encourage learning from the grassroots level
In parallel with outstanding achievements at the provincial level, the education promotion movement at the grassroots level in Nghe An is also spreading widely, creating a solid foundation for the learning society.
Typically, Xuan Lam Commune People's Committee launched the Executive Committee of the Commune Association for Promoting Education for the term 2025–2030. Right at the launching ceremony, the spirit of education promotion continued to spread strongly when many businesses and individuals joined hands to contribute more than 1 billion VND to the Xuan Lam Commune Education Promotion Fund.
Typical units include Hoa Thuong Co., Ltd., SaCom Door Technology Joint Stock Company, SHB Bank Ha Thanh branch, Tan Phat ETEK Group, Xuan Lam Commune Business Association and many other organizations and individuals.
This socialized resource not only has the meaning of supporting disadvantaged students but also contributes to spreading the spirit of community responsibility for the local education cause.
Currently, the whole province has nearly 950,000 members of the Association for Promoting Education, accounting for more than 27% of the population, creating a wide network to help the lifelong learning movement spread to each family, clan, and residential area.
The models "Learning Citizens", "Learning Families", "Learning Units" are contributing to spreading learning culture throughout society.
