On July 12, according to the People's Committee of Pham Ngu Lao commune, the locality has coordinated with the Party Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and the leadership of Do Luong village to propagate and successfully mobilize 3 households to voluntarily dismantle illegal construction works on irrigation land in hamlet 1, Do Luong village.
Three households including Mr. Nguyen Xuan La, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan and Mr. Vu Sy Thanh. After being directly propagated and explained by the local government about the provisions of law on management and use of irrigation land, and analyzed the impacts of encroaching on the irrigation works corridor on drainage, disaster prevention and control, and agricultural production, all three households agreed to voluntarily dismantle the violating works.
According to the People's Committee of Pham Ngu Lao commune, households have voluntarily dismantled about 200m2 of illegal construction on irrigation land and committed not to repeat violations. The dismantling process took place according to plan, ensuring safety and receiving the consensus of local people.
The commune government assessed that the voluntary compliance of households with legal regulations shows a sense of responsibility, awareness of respecting the law, and at the same time shows the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work, promoting the role of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in resolving cases related to land management and irrigation works.
In the coming time, Pham Ngu Lao Commune People's Committee will continue to strengthen propaganda and disseminate land law, promote inspection, promptly detect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
