Keep the room always ventilated
Poor air circulation makes pollutants arising from the outside and inside the house easily accumulate. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain a ventilated living space with natural light and regularly open windows when conditions permit to enhance air exchange. This helps limit the accumulation of pollutants and create a more comfortable feeling when living.
Potted planting
Green trees can contribute to creating a comfortable living space and close to nature. Some types of trees such as golden betel can be placed in the living room, bathroom or suitable areas in the house. However, you should not abuse green trees, especially in small spaces or bedrooms. You need to choose the right type of tree, size and location to avoid obstructing air circulation, and regularly take care of and remove wilted leaves and damp soil to limit mold.
Choose safe building materials
Furniture and building materials can be sources of emissions of some air pollutants in the house, including formaldehyde from some industrial wood products, glue and finishing materials. When buying furniture, you should prioritize products with clear origins, meeting standards for formaldehyde emissions and air quality in the house.
For paint and finishing materials, products with low volatile organic compound (VOC) content, meeting safety standards, should be selected. After repairing or installing new furniture, it is necessary to increase ventilation to limit emissions accumulating in the living space.
