On the afternoon of September 9, information from Quang Binh Commune Police, Thanh Hoa province said that the unit had summoned and worked with Mr. N.Q. T. (born in 1983, residing in Hien Tay village, Quang Binh commune) to clarify the case of a fallen tree hitting a pedestrian, causing the victim to die.
According to a representative of Quang Binh Commune Police, the police agency is continuing to verify and clarify the case, including considering signs of the crime of "involuntary manslaughter".
Previously, at about 8:20 am on the same day, in the area in front of house number 295, provincial road 511, in Hien Tay village, Quang Binh commune, Mr. N.Q. T. was hired to cut down a mahogany tree in front of Mr. N.Q. H.'s house gate.
While the acacia tree was falling, Mr. Le Dinh Th. (born in 1958, residing in Mau Xuong village, Quang Binh commune) was driving a motorbike through the above area and was hit by the falling tree. The victim died later.
Upon receiving the news, Quang Binh Commune Police were present to protect the scene, and at the same time reported to the Traffic Police Department and the Criminal Technical Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police to coordinate in handling and clarifying the incident.
