On June 24, Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - inspected the site clearance (GPMB) work and the construction progress of resettlement areas serving the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway (CT. 08) construction investment project section passing through Hung Yen province in Tay Thai Ninh, Tra Giang and Le Loi communes.
According to the report of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of Hung Yen province, to date, the site clearance of the project in the province has been basically completed for agricultural land and converted land, reaching 93.69% of the area to be recovered; about 31.2km/33.3km of the entire route has been handed over to the project enterprise. For residential land, localities have completed counting and verifying the origin of land for 245/245 affected households; and are focusing on completing compensation, support and resettlement plans for the remaining cases.
The project is arranged with 9 resettlement areas in Hong Vu, Kien Xuong, Le Loi, Binh Nguyen, Tra Giang, Tay Thai Ninh and Thai Thuy communes. To date, 7/9 resettlement areas have been basically completed, meeting the conditions to organize lot draws and allocate resettlement plots for households; the remaining 2 areas in Tay Thai Ninh and Le Loi communes are being focused on by construction units to accelerate progress, striving to be completed in June 2026.
Through actual inspection, Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - acknowledged the efforts of localities and units in performing tasks in the past time.
The Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee requested localities to continue to focus highly on site clearance work; urgently complete the remaining procedures, accelerate the progress of approving compensation, support and resettlement plans according to the plan.
