The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the 2025 land use plan of Tay Ho district, including 89 projects with a total area of 348.92 hectares. This is an important step to promote the development of technical infrastructure, new urban areas, public services and environmental improvement in this area.
Projects in the 2025 plan focus mainly on the construction of traffic routes, urban development and landscape improvement. Notably, the Nam Thang Long Urban Area with an area of 52 hectares invested by Nam Thang Long Urban Area Development Company Limited, and the Tay Ho Tay New Urban Area project - phase 2 with an area of 55.8 hectares implemented by THT Development Company Limited. These are two major projects, contributing to reshaping the urban appearance of Tay Ho district.
In addition to urban areas, this year's plan also includes many key transport infrastructure projects such as the Dang Thai Mai road extended to Au Co road, alley 240 Au Co in Quang An ward with an area of 1.1 hectares. In addition, the Quang An flower market renovation project with an area of 1.85 hectares, including 1.2 hectares of reclaimed land, is also expected to create a more modern and attractive trading space for residents and tourists.
A number of projects to renovate historical and cultural relics are also focused on in the plan, including the restoration and embellishment of Nhat Tan communal house with an area of 0.47ha and the environmental improvement of Dam Tri Lake area with an area of 4.03ha. These projects not only preserve cultural values but also contribute to improving the quality of the living environment in the area.
The 2025 land use plan also adds new projects to meet local development needs. Of which, the Pearl Theater and the Thematic Cultural and Artistic Park with an area of over 19 hectares, along with 8 inland waterway ports with a total area of 7.3 hectares are highlights. In particular, many public agricultural land areas with an area of about 94 hectares will be auctioned for lease for agricultural production, bringing a stable source of income to the budget and supporting sustainable economic development.
The Hanoi People's Committee requested the Tay Ho District People's Committee to review and evaluate the feasibility of projects, ensuring their feasibility and effectiveness. In case of new constructions or projects with sufficient legal basis, the district must promptly report to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for submission to the City People's Committee for additional approval. At the same time, the district also needs to publicize planning information, closely monitor land acquisition, ensure the implementation process is on schedule and achieves the set development goals.
