Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan inspected the progress of the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (phase 1) and the payment of compensation for site clearance for households in Da Ngu village, Kien Hung commune.
At the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested relevant units to continue to closely coordinate, ensure publicity and transparency in payment work, urgently complete items according to plan, creating favorable conditions for investors to implement projects on schedule.
The Tan Trao Industrial Park project (phase 1) has been approved by the Hai Phong City People's Committee under Decision No. 1538/QD‐UBND. Tan Trao Industrial Park is planned to have a total area of 500-550 hectares, including industrial park land in and outside the dike. Of which, the area for research on planning Tan Trao Industrial Park (phase 1) is 252.1 hectares; including nearly 227 hectares of industrial park area located in the Ta River Van Uc dike, the rest is outside the Ta River Van Uc dike.
The total investment capital of the project is more than 4,000 billion VND, implemented in Kien Hung and Nghi Duong communes and located in the Southern Coastal Economic Zone of Hai Phong. The project implementation progress is 5 years, from the second quarter of 2025 to the end of the second quarter of 2030. From the second quarter of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026 is the period of implementing legal procedures and investment preparation procedures. During this time, site clearance will be implemented from now until the end of 2025. From the first quarter of 2026 to the second quarter of 2030 is the construction phase of the industrial park infrastructure, gradually put into commercial operation.
According to the Kien Thuy Project Management Board, Da Ngu village has 299 households with an area of 305,604.6 m2 in the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (phase 1) with a total compensation of more than 145.2 billion VND.
Previously, the People's Committee of Kien Hung commune held a conference to announce the policy of implementing the Tan Trao Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Project (phase 1) in Da Ngu village. The government is committed to implementing compensation, resettlement and project management in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency and receiving consensus from the people.
