Approving compensation of VND 3,250 billion to reclaim land for the Cai stream dredging project
On July 7, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - chaired a meeting to listen to the Project Management Board of the Binh Duong Agriculture and Rural Development sector report on the implementation results of infrastructure investment projects.
Notably, the project to dredge and reinforce Cai stream from Tho Ut bridge to Dong Nai river. This is one of the projects with large investment capital that the Binh Duong Agricultural and Rural Development Project Management Board is assigned to represent the investor. This project has a total investment of nearly 6,000 billion VND.

The goal of the project is to drain rainwater and treated wastewater for a basin of 22,503 hectares, while improving the environment, beautifying the urban area and building regional traffic routes.
The project is nearly 19 km long, and will be put into operation by 2027. There are 946 households and 18 organizations affected when implementing the project. Site clearance work has been implemented since November 2021. See more...
Quang Ngai auctions 18 mineral areas in mountainous areas
On July 7, after signing an asset auction service contract with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province (formerly Kon Tum province), Kon Tum Central Highlands Joint Stock Auction Company will organize an auction of mineral exploitation rights for 18 unexplored mineral areas.
The auction is scheduled to take place at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, 2025. Of which, there are 8 sand mine areas, 6 stone mine areas and 4 land areas for common construction materials. These areas are mainly located in communes such as Dak Glei, Dak To, Dak Ha, Tu Mo Rong... with reserves of thousands of cubic meters.

After being approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, the starting price of the 18 mineral areas is nearly 15 billion VND, auctioned in the form of bidding up. Cases that must correct red books according to new regulations
Cases that require correction of red books are clearly stipulated in the 2024 Land Law, and are delegated the authority to be implemented from July 1, 2025 according to the new Decree of the Government.

According to regulations, cases that must correct existing red books have been corrected since January 1, 2025 according to the 2024 Land Law. However, from July 1, 2025, the implementation of this procedure will be more clearly delegated to the commune level according to Decree 151/2025/ND-CP.
According to Clause 1, Article 152 of the 2024 Land Law, the competent authority issuing the Certificate of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land (also known as the red book) is responsible for correcting errors in the issued certificate in the following cases:
- There are errors in the information of the person granted the certificate compared to the information at the time of correction;
- There are errors in information about land plots and assets attached to land compared to the land registration declaration file, assets attached to land that have been inspected and confirmed by a land registration organization or shown in the effective document of a competent state agency on land dispute settlement.
