According to the reporter's records, in early April, although the project was still under construction, the "heat" from the transport infrastructure quickly spread to the real estate market along the route.
Especially areas near intersections, points connecting to tourist centers such as Moc Chau, Van Ho (Son La); Da Bac, Mai Chau (Hoa Binh).

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien - a real estate trader in Hoa Binh, said: "Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, investors have started looking for land near the expressway".
Land prices in some areas such as Van Ho, Moc Chau or near the intersection with the highway in Cao Son commune have begun to increase slightly, an average of 15 - 30%.
In particular, residential land near the main road, or that can be converted for use, currently ranges from 1 to 5 million VND/m2.
According to Mr. Tien, when the expressway is completed, the travel time from Hanoi to Moc Chau will be only about 1.5 to 2 hours, shortening it by nearly half compared to the present. This not only facilitates trade but also opens up great potential for tourism and investment in resort real estate in the Hoa Binh lake area and the Da Bac highlands.
Not only investors, but many local people are also eagerly watching the project's implementation step by step.
Ms. Bui Thi Tam - a household living in Seo hamlet, Cao Son commune, Da Bac district (near the start of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway) shared: "Previously, few people asked to buy land here, people mainly did farming. But recently, many people have come to ask to buy land, and prices have also increased. If the project is completed, I hope people have the opportunity to provide services, open homestays or restaurants to serve tourists".

Mr. Dinh Thanh Xuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Son commune (Da Bac district) informed that thanks to the information about starting the expressway, the number of certified real estate transactions at the People's Committee of the commune has begun to improve.
"When the expressway is completed, not only will transportation be more convenient but it will also create leverage to attract investment, promote the local economy and tourism. Hopefully in the future, this place will become an attractive destination, contributing to improving people's lives and changing the face of this land with many difficulties," Mr. Xuan assessed.
The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway project through Hoa Binh province with a length of about 34km, a total investment of VND9,997 billion, is invested by the Hoa Binh Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The starting point of the project is at Km19+000 in Da Bac town; the end point is at Km53+000 in Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district, Son La. Clearing the site for the completion phase with a scale of 4 lanes with a total area of about 354.37 hectares, the project implementation period is from 2022 - 2028.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the expressway project took place on September 29, 2024, in Seo hamlet, Cao Son commune, Da Bac district with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
