On November 26, agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee are implementing component project 6 - compensation, support and resettlement of Ring Road 3 through Binh Duong area (additional item of Tan Binh resettlement area).
Component project 6 in Dong Hoa ward (HCMC) has 107 affected cases. The total area of land to be recovered is 266,972 m2. The compensation plan for 2025 is 1,400 billion VND.
Currently, the investigation, survey, measurement and inventory work has been completed. The authorities have also issued a notice of land reclamation to all related cases. The Compensation Council has unanimously approved the land price plan.
The Compensation Council also held a meeting with the people and publicly posted the draft compensation and resettlement support plan.
Currently, the units are urgently carrying out further legal procedures to disburse compensation to affected cases.
It is known that Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 passing through Binh Duong area is about 26.6 km long, with a total investment of VND 19,280 billion. The project is divided into 2 component projects.
In which, component project 5 is construction divided into 4 construction packages of more than 11 km of roads and connecting bridges. The construction packages were started in June 2023, and are currently speeding up the construction progress.
For component project 6, site clearance and resettlement have a total investment of VND 13,528 billion. Units focus on site clearance, following the construction progress of the packages. The total area of recovered land is 129 hectares.
