Light in the bedroom
We should design high windows from floor to ceiling to receive natural light, helping the room always be bright and airy.
During the day, the bedroom needs to be bright enough but not too bright. At night, you should avoid strong or bright lights; soft, pointed night lights are a suitable choice. Warm light tones help create a feeling of relaxation. Conversely, a room that is too dark or gloomy light can easily make the mood heavy.
Relationship between bedroom doors and other doors
The bedroom door should not be facing the main door. The bedroom needs to be quiet and private, while the main door is a place where many people pass by. Door to door is easy to cause noise, affecting sleep and daily life.
Do not leave the bedroom door opposite the bathroom. The bathroom is often damp and smelly, reducing the air quality in the bedroom. For houses with closed bathrooms in the bedroom, always close the door or use curtains to limit moisture.
Avoid placing the bedroom opposite or next to the kitchen. Smoke, cooking odors and heat from the kitchen can affect health and rest quality, especially when the bed is placed close to the kitchen wall.
The bedroom door should not be facing the storage room. The storage room is often damp, with a lot of dust and moldy odors, which is not good for the resting space.
Position and direction of the bed
Do not place the bed close to the window. The window is a place to receive wind, light and noise, easily causing loss of safety and affecting sleep.
The head of the bed should lean against the wall. This helps the sleeping person feel more stable and secure. A bed without a support can easily cause feelings of instability and anxiety.
The bed should be placed about 50 cm above the ground. The space under the bed needs to be ventilated and clean to avoid mold and help better air circulation. Messy bedrooms, beds close to the floor easily affect health and long-term activities.
