Currently, Phuoc Hoa Commune People's Committee continues to coordinate to remove obstacles in building new housing, relocating factories, land procedures and compensation and support dossiers. Local authorities are promoting mobilization, dialogue, listening to and resolving people's petitions. Thereby, mobilizing people to agree to hand over land to implement the project.
The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project has a total length of about 52 km. In which, the section passing through the old Binh Duong province is nearly 46 km long with a total investment of about 17,400 billion VND. The land area recovered for the project is 344 ha, affecting 1,615 households, individuals, and organizations.
The site clearance project passes through 9 communes and wards, including: Tan Khanh, Tan Hiep, Vinh Tan, Binh Duong, Binh Co, Phuoc Hoa, An Long, Chanh Phu Hoa ward and Bau Bang commune. Due to the uneven progress of land recovery in localities, it affects the project construction progress. The construction site is mainly implemented in the An Long and Phuoc Hoa communes.
