Ho Chi Minh City - Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee is mobilizing more than 50 cases to receive compensation and hand over land to build DH 403 road.

On September 19, Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee (HCMC) is urgently carrying out the work of mobilizing cases within the clearance area to hand over the site to deploy the project of upgrading and expanding the road from Binh Chuan intersection to the intersection with Tan Phuoc Khanh Martyrs' Monument road (DH 403 road).

According to Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee, the DH 403 road project is about 2.6 km long with an area of 36,056.9 m2 of land to be recovered. Of which, 308 land plots of 281 households and 8 organizations are within the clearance scope of the project.

To date, measurement and inventory work has been carried out for 276 households and 8 organizations, reaching 98.3%; compensation and support plans have been approved for 269/289 households, individuals and organizations, reaching 93.1%, with a total budget of more than 765.7 billion VND. Currently, 230 cases have received compensation with a total amount of more than 676.7 billion VND.

On the morning of September 19, after propaganda and mobilization, 2 households agreed to hand over the land for the project.

Tan Khanh Ward People's Committee is continuing to coordinate with the Binh Duong Regional Land Fund Development Center Branch and relevant agencies to focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, strengthening the mobilization of the remaining cases to receive compensation money and soon hand over the site, contributing to accelerating the project implementation progress.

It is known that the DH 403 road project has a length of 2,678 m. The project is implemented along the existing road, expanded to 32m. The project started in November 2024, construction time 540 days. However, due to site clearance issues that have not been completed, the project has not yet been completed.
