Step 1: Determine the agency issuing the land price list
According to the 2024 Land Law, the land price list is issued annually and adjusted annually by the provincial People's Committee. The Provincial People's Committee is responsible for submitting to the Provincial People's Council a decision to adjust, amend, and supplement the land price list for promulgation and application from January 1 of the following year.
In case it is necessary to adjust, amend, or supplement the land price list, the provincial People's Committee is responsible for submitting to the provincial People's Council for decision.
The provincial land management agency is responsible for developing, adjusting, amending and supplementing the land price list. During the implementation process, the provincial land management agency is allowed to hire a consulting organization to determine land prices to develop, adjust, amend, and supplement the land price list to ensure accuracy and objectivity.
Step 2: Look up information on the electronic information portal
People can look up the land price list through 2 main channels, including: Provincial/City Information Portal and National Land Information Portal.
First, access the electronic information portal of the province/city where you live.
Search for "Land", "P by Public Service" or "Leyal Documents".
Search for documents related to the annual land price list.
Second, access the National Land Portal. Look up the land price list by province/city; year of issuance; land type.
Step 3: Prepare search information
Information to be looked up includes land address: Road, ward/commune, province... Location of the land plot: classified by route, alley or area; or land type: residential land, agricultural land, non-agricultural land, city land, rural land...
For example, people look up the land price list of Hanoi City by accessing the electronic information portal of Hanoi People's Committee or the page of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
According to the draft applied from January 1, 2026, the Hanoi land price list is divided into 17 administrative areas. Land prices on some central roads (location 1) can reach 702 million VND/m2.
