By October 22, the house that was mistakenly built on someone else's land (on DX 066, Chanh Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) had been relocated to the correct land location.
According to records, after 3 weeks of implementation, the entire house with one ground floor and one upper floor of about 70m2 (4.9m wide, nearly 15m long) has been relocated by the company (commonly known as the "genie") to the next plot of land.
The "genie" dug the foundation of the house, reinforced the foundation system, and used hydraulic shock to lift the house. Then build the foundation where the house will be relocated. At the same time, a rolling system was built to bring the house to the right location and placed it on the pre-fulfilled foundation system.
Initially, it was noted that the house was relocated quite successfully. The entire house is kept as original. There are no cracks around.

It is known that the house was built with a budget of about 800 million VND, and has only been in use for about a year. The cost for the "genie" to relocate this house was about 200 million VND.
Ms. Vo Thu Thao (born in 1992, owner of the land plot) and her husband said that the house has now been relocated. Currently, we are waiting for the homeowner to level the land and remove the fence in front of the house. Ms. Thao was very happy that the owner of the house was fulfilling the commitment in the mediation record.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that in 2024, Ms. Vo Thu Thao (born in 1992) and her husband bought a 71 m2 plot of land in Chanh Hiep Ward. Because she did not have money to build a house, Ms. Thao still left the land vacant.
In mid-June 2025, Ms. Thao asked a construction unit to survey and measure to build a house and discovered that someone had built a house on her land. Through contact, it was determined that the person with the next piece of land had built the house by mistake on his land, so Ms. Thao contacted to negotiate a solution but failed.
On September 24, the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward invited 2 families involved in the case of mistakenly building a house on someone else's land to work.
After working, the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward drew up a record of mediation. As a result of the mediation, both sides had a common voice and agreed that the party that built the house by mistake would move the house to the correct location of their plot of land. The person who built the house on the land of Mrs. Thao and her husband hired a "genie" to relocate the house to his plot of land within 45 days.
