The Land and Technical Infrastructure Project for the Nhac Son hill residential area, old Lao Cai city (now Lao Cai ward) was approved by the Chairman of Lao Cai Ward People's Committee under Decision No. 929a/QD-UBND dated September 29, 2025.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of more than 110 billion VND, invested by the Lao Cai - Coc San Construction Investment Project Management Board (formerly the Lao Cai City Construction Investment Project Management Board).
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Lao Cai - Coc San Construction Investment Project Management Board recently issued a Bidding Notice for Package No. 7: Construction + procurement, installation, equipment testing; acceptance of power outage and handover; ensuring traffic of the project.
Package No. 7 is in the field of construction and installation, widely bid online, priced at nearly 70 billion VND from the revenue from the land use fee of Lao Cai ward budget.
According to the project documents, the scale of Package No. 7 includes the following specific items:
Regarding traffic, the package will invest in the construction of a road along the foot of Nhac Son hill according to the approved plan with a total length of 2.458km, starting point intersecting with Hoang Lien road, ending point intersecting with the cement concrete road to Dong Tuyen commune (adjacent to Nguyen Ba Ngoc).
Invest in restoring the route to the water plant with a length of 110.52m; invest in restoring N1 route with a length of 102.97m, the starting point of the route intersects with Dien Bien road, the end point of the route connects to the existing road.
Regarding leveling, the land of the Nhac Son hill residential area is leveling with the plots of villas and educational land according to the plan, the basic design of the residential plots is kept the same as the current status, avoiding natural changes in terrain. After the houses are built, they will be following the existing terrain and providing appropriate architectural solutions.
Along with that, the package will synchronously construct the works: drainage, drainage of basins, drainage of wastewater, water supply, power supply and connection of power lines and communication systems.
