In February 2025, the Nha Trang City People's Council issued a Resolution on assigning the Nha Trang City People's Committee to decide on investment policies for 4 projects that have been submitted to the City People's Council for investment policy decisions before January 1, 2025.
Previously, at the end of 2024, Nha Trang City People's Committee submitted 4 documents to Nha Trang City People's Council on the decision on investment policy for 4 city-level projects.
These are the project to Upgrade and Renovate the Vinh Hai Ward Police Headquarters with a capital of 2.2 billion VND, the investment project for the project to Upgrade and Renovate the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with a capital of 5.1 billion VND, the project to Renovate and Repair the Ngoc Hiep New Market with a capital of 1.5 billion VND and the project to Renovate and Repair the People's Committee of Ngoc Hiep Ward with a capital of more than 2.5 billion VND.
These projects are implemented by Nha Trang City People's Committee, Nha Trang City Police, Nha Trang City Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Ngoc Hiep Ward.
It is expected that these projects will be implemented from 2024 to 2027.
According to Nha Trang City People's Committee, these projects are all in accordance with the Land Use Planning Project to 2030, the land use plan for the first year of the Nha Trang City land use plan was approved by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in 2022.
Before the above Resolution, the Socio-Economic Committee under the Nha Trang City People's Council submitted a proposal to assign the Nha Trang City government to decide on the investment policy for the above 4 projects to implement according to the provisions of the Law on Public Investment 2024.
The Economic - Social Committee of Nha Trang City People's Council cited the Law on Public Investment No. 58/2024 with the content "The program and project have completed the procedures for preparation and appraisal, submitted to the competent authority for investment decision or investment decision before the effective date of this Law, then the competent authority will consider and decide according to the provisions of the Law on Public Investment"...
Temporarily suspending the construction of an administrative center with a capital of 438 billion VND
In March 2025, Nha Trang City Party Committee directed the City People's Committee to temporarily suspend procedures related to the Administrative Center project (at 114 Hoang Hoa Tham) with a capital of 438 billion VND and report to the provincial leaders to stop implementation.
This decision aims to ensure effective use of the budget, limit waste and comply with the Central's policies and guidelines.
