Implementing site clearance work to serve the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction investment project, on August 25, the Kien Minh Commune Site Clearance Council organized the payment of compensation and support money in the 2nd phase for households and individuals in Sam Linh village (old Tho Linh) who have land and assets on agricultural land that were recovered for project implementation.
In this phase, Kien Minh commune made payments to 199 households and individuals with a total amount of 145,045,445,000 VND according to the approved plan.
According to the plan, on the morning of August 26, the Commune Land Clearance Council will continue to organize payments to the remaining households and individuals eligible for payment in phase 2, contributing to ensuring the progress of the compensation and support plan and site clearance work of the project.
Previously, on August 22, Kien Minh commune organized the first phase of compensation and support payment for 10 households and individuals in Phong Cau village. The total amount paid was nearly 2.5 billion VND.
Timely and proper payment contributes to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of people whose land is recovered, and at the same time demonstrates the proactiveness and urgency of the locality in site clearance, creating conditions for early handover of land, serving the implementation of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project according to schedule.
