On June 24, according to Pham Ngu Lao commune (Hung Yen province), the locality has organized the payment of compensation and support when the State recovers land to implement the Investment Project to build DT. 382B road section Km14+420 - Km26+730 (left and right branches) for households in Dao Xa village.
According to the plan approved by competent authorities, Dao Xa village has 113 households affected by the project with a total recovered land area of about 16,000m2. The total amount of compensation and support paid to households is more than 7.3 billion VND.
The payments include compensation and support for land; support for trees and crops; support for stabilizing life and production; bonuses for handing over land on schedule and other support regimes and policies according to current regulations.
To ensure smooth payment, Pham Ngu Lao Commune People's Committee has strengthened propaganda and dissemination of regulations on land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement; and at the same time organized review, inventory, and public listing of compensation and support plans in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency and democracy.
According to Pham Ngu Lao commune, in the process of organizing payments, the majority of households agreed and well complied with the policy of land acquisition to implement the project, showing support for the province's key traffic project.
Timely payment of compensation and support contributes to ensuring the rights of people whose land is recovered, while accelerating the progress of site handover, creating conditions for the project to be implemented and completed soon according to plan, contributing to completing transport infrastructure and promoting socio-economic development in the area.
