Challenges in managing vacant land
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City, the land plot next to the Zen Monastery, between Nam Tran and Hoang Thi Loan streets, was previously proposed to be used as a storage area for vehicles serving Buddhist spiritual and daily activities. However, this proposal was not accepted by the city leaders. Currently, this area is temporarily fenced with B40 nets and has become a place for ornamental plants and vehicles, which can cause loss of aesthetics right next to the monk's table.
In the area along Da Co canal, Nguyen Chon area, Hoa Phu 23 (Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city), some drinking places have leveled the ground in front for construction purposes. The Department of Agriculture and Environment also promptly detects and warns, preventing illegal construction. This unit has also completely handled the situation of land re- occupation of drinking establishments that were dismantled during the process of adjusting the administrative boundary between Hoa Minh ward and Thanh Khe Tay ward (Thanh Khe district).
"With the quantity and volume of more than 14,000 plots of land in the area as well as 351 plots of land in large quantities, our management has times and places that cannot immediately meet the requirements of the city's leaders," said Mr. Vo Nguyen Chuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City.
Mr. Vo Nguyen Chuong said that the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City has established a full-time working group. When there is information on social networks in general and official information from press agencies, this unit will organize an inspection and handle it immediately.
Renting 30 golden land lots
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City, in April, the City Land Fund Development Center announced the temporary lease of 30 plots of land in the area, with a term of 36 months. Of which, there are 11 land plots for parking lots, 15 land plots for parking lots combined with warehouses and 4 commercial service land plots.
Many plots of land are located in prime locations, attracting the attention of investors such as the 7,700m2 land plot with two frontages on Ngo Quyen - Vuong Thua Vu road (Son Tra district), the 9,900m2 land plot with frontage on Ngu Hanh Son road (Ngu Hanh Son district) for parking lots and the more than 27,700m2 land plot on Ngo Quyen road (Son Tra district) for rent as a parking lot combined with a warehouse. Four commercial and service land plots are also located in busy locations on Me Thu Street (Cam Le District), Ha Van Mao - Nguyen An - Bo Dam 4 intersection (Hoa Vang District), and Le Duc Tho - Yet Kieu - Man Quang, Ha Tong Huan streets (Son Tra District).
Interested investors need to deposit 10% of the value of the land area (at the starting price) and submit a valid application. The Land Fund Development Center will choose the person with the highest rental price. The deposit will be converted into a deposit to dismantle the work after the expiry of the contract.
