On April 7, the Department of Construction of Dak Lak province said that in the second quarter of 2026, functional agencies are implementing many social housing projects for low-income people.
In which, aiming to build about 3,900 houses in 2026. In the 2025–2030 period, the whole province strives to achieve more than 38,000 houses.
Social housing projects are gradually realizing the goal of housing for people, while contributing to changing the urban appearance and infrastructure in the area.
Since 2016, An Phu Urban Development and Investment Joint Stock Company has participated in the development of a new urban area in the northern area of the western ring road of Buon Ma Thuot City (old), according to the province's investment attraction orientation.
The enterprise deploys a synchronous residential area model, including townhouses, land plots and social housing funds. After a period of implementation, An Phu urban area gradually formed, becoming a highlight to attract investment, contributing to building a modern city, while creating livelihoods for people.
Social housing projects here are contributing to meeting the increasing housing demand.

Mr. Phan Ta Sinh, Deputy General Director of the enterprise, said that the unit and many partners are continuing to invest in urban real estate, industry and finance, although there are still many challenges.
Businesses also promote the development of housing funds for workers, in combination with banks to support purchase and lease-purchase at reasonable prices.
According to Mr. Tran Tien Loi, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Real Estate Association, projects such as An Phu Urban Area, EcoCity Premia are positive highlights in social housing development.
Despite many obstacles in mechanisms, policies and management, businesses are still persistently pursuing and moving towards segments suitable for the majority income.
Currently, a number of social housing projects for police officers and soldiers with a scale of about 1,300 units are being implemented.
Leaders of the Provincial Department of Construction said that social housing development helps localities achieve "double goals": Both meeting the housing needs of low-income people and promoting socio-economic growth; and contributing to limiting supply-demand mismatch, real estate speculation, and increasing market stability.
