Ung Hoa Commune Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board in coordination with Lac Viet Joint Venture Auction Company has just successfully organized a land use right auction for 34/62 eligible land plots in Dong Truoc Duoi area, Hung Vuong village, Ung Hoa commune (formerly Dong Dinh village, Dai Cuong commune, old Ung Hoa district).
According to Ung Hoa Commune People's Committee, 34 land plots put up for auction have a total area of nearly 4,200 m2, belonging to the residential land fund allocated by the State with land use fees and long-term use.
The starting price applied uniformly is 8,026,000 VND/m2, price step 17,000,000 VND/m2. In the second and third rounds of auction, the price difference is regulated at 200,000 VND/m2.
The auction was organized in the form of direct voting through 3 mandatory rounds, ensuring the correct order and procedures according to the provisions of law, public, transparent and objective. As a result, all 34/34 land plots were successfully auctioned.
The lowest winning price was 25,026,000 VND/m2, the highest reached 41,226,000 VND/m2, equivalent to 5.13 times the starting price. The total amount collected from the auction reached 118 billion 849 million VND.

The entire auction process takes place under the supervision of leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the commune and functional agencies, ensuring the publicity and transparency of participating organizations and individuals.
According to Ung Hoa Commune People's Committee, the successful auction of 34 land plots not only contributes to the effective exploitation of the land fund, creating an important source of revenue for the local budget, but also creates additional resources to invest in infrastructure development and improve the quality of works serving people's livelihoods.
This result also shows the determination of the local government in managing and using land in accordance with regulations, publicly, transparently, and effectively promoting land resources to serve socio-economic development.
