In early 2026, Phu Tho province simultaneously deployed two large-scale public asset auctions, including auctioning the right to lease agricultural land in Phung Nguyen commune and auctioning the right to exploit business stalls at the Hung Temple Special National Historical Relic Site.
This activity aims to improve the efficiency of land management and use, create a public and transparent source of revenue for the budget, and at the same time open up opportunities to access resources for people and businesses.
Both auctions are organized by Phu Tho Joint Venture Auction Company, the deadline for receiving applications and deposits ends at 5:00 PM on February 4, 2026.
Auction of agricultural land lease rights in Phung Nguyen commune
According to Notice No. 06/TB-AAPC, Phung Nguyen Commune People's Committee (Lam Thao district) organizes an auction of public land lease rights to serve agricultural production for a term of 10 years, paying annual rent.
The total land area put up for auction is 15,804m2, including 3 land plots in Vuon Sau, Rung Ca and Bo Giam areas.
Land plots have a starting price from 540 VND/m2/year, the rent for the first year ranges from more than 2.5 million VND to nearly 3.4 million VND/plot. The corresponding deposit amount is from 5 million to 6.5 million VND for a 10-year lease term. The purpose of land use is to grow other annual crops according to regulations.
The subjects participating in the auction are individuals directly engaged in agricultural production, with permanent residence in Phung Nguyen commune and fully meeting the conditions according to the 2024 Land Law and the Property Auction Law.
The auction form is direct voting in the hall, according to the upward bidding method, with a price step of 300 VND/m2/year.
The auction is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM on February 9, 2026 at the hall of Phung Nguyen Commune People's Committee.
Auction of stall exploitation rights at Hung Temple Relic Site
In parallel with the agricultural land auction, Notice No. 05/TB-AAPC announces the auction of the right to exploit 4 sales counters at the Hung Temple Special National Historical Relic Area (Hy Cuong commune).
Specifically, the counter behind Thuong Temple (14m2) and the counter at Trung Temple (8m2) have a starting price of 680 million VND for a 2-year exploitation period. The counter at Ha Temple (26m2) has a starting price of 840 million VND, while the counter at Gieng Temple (8m2) has the highest starting price of 880 million VND.
The above prices do not include taxes and arising costs as prescribed.
This auction session expands the participants to individuals and organizations that meet legal conditions. The auction form is indirect voting via post.
Participants must submit dossiers and bids in sealed envelopes to the organizing unit before 5:00 PM on February 4, 2026. The deposit amount is 100 million VND/stall, the price step is 30 million VND for a term of 2 years.
The auction results are expected to be announced at 8:00 AM on February 9, 2026 at the Hung Temple Relic Site.
According to the organizing unit, both auctions were carried out in accordance with legal procedures, ensuring the principles of publicity, transparency and competition.
