On September 16, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a Plan for auctioning land use rights in 2025, aiming to effectively exploit land resources, increase revenue for the budget and meet the land use needs of organizations and individuals in the area.
According to the plan, in 2025, Lang Son province will auction 41 plots of land out of a total of 88 plots of land eligible for use under the 12% land fund in Phu Loc II Urban Area (Ky Lua Ward) and Nam Hoang Dong I Urban Area (Tam Thanh Ward).
In Phu Loc II, there are 77 land plots eligible for auction with a total area of over 7,200 m2, completed infrastructure and clean land.
However, there are still 12 unqualified plots of land due to problems related to Hoang Duong Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.
In Nam Hoang Dong I, 11/12 plots of land are eligible for auction with an area of over 4,700 m2, while 1 plot is not eligible due to incomplete infrastructure.
The auction process is divided into 5 consecutive rounds from September 2025, each round is 10 - 20 working days apart. The plots of land that were not successful in previous rounds will be re-auctioned in the final round.
The province also auctioned the land plot T.M.D.V.1 in the Southern Resettlement and Residential Area of Lang Son city (Dong Kinh ward) with a total area of over 9,200 m2, of which 8,481.5 m2 is eligible for auction. This land is determined to be planned as commercial and service land until 2030.
The Provincial People's Committee has approved the auction plan and starting price for this land in the decisions issued in June 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee requested the Land Fund Development Center to urgently advise on organizing the implementation of the auction steps, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and progress. At the same time, all plan information will be publicly posted on the National Land Use Rights Auction Information Portal.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches, together with the People's Committees of Ky Lua, Tam Thanh, and Dong Kinh wards, to organize the implementation, ensuring the auction work is transparent and preventing acts of taking advantage of illegal profits.
Phu Loc II Urban Area (Ky Lua Ward) and Nam Hoang Dong I Urban Area (Tam Thanh Ward) are large-scale urban areas with strategic locations, located at the gateway to Lang Son province.
These two urban areas are only about 5 minutes by car from the center of the old Lang Son city, and are located in the main traffic artery of National Highway 1A, near the Northern Bus Station, Lang Son Station and connect international border gates with Hanoi Capital and the northern mountainous provinces.
