The auction on December 13 has 4 plots of land in Ao Dau area, Trang Viet village (LK01 - LK04) and 7 plots of land at Point X1 (LK7-08 to LK7-14), Dong Cao village. The plots of land have an area of 92 - 111.1m2 with a starting price of 1.5 million VND/m2.
This is the lowest starting price compared to recent land auctions in Hanoi. However, with 5 mandatory auction rounds, with price steps starting from 6 million VND, the minimum winning price of each plot of land must also be from 26.5 million VND/m2 or more.
There were 160 customers participating in this auction, registering more than 600 applications. As a result, after 8 rounds, the highest winning price was determined at 85,515 million VND/m2 for the land plot in Dong Cao village; the lowest winning price was 46,515 million VND/m2 in Ao Dau village.
A representative of the Land Fund Development Center of Me Linh district said that the total amount of money collected for the budget calculated based on the winning price is about 150 billion VND.
In particular, the process of implementing the auction project, determining the starting price and organizing the auction in Me Linh district was carried out in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring publicity, transparency, fairness and objectivity.
It is expected that on December 19 and 26, Me Linh district will continue to organize the auction of land use rights for 22 plots of land at Point X1, Dong Cao village, Trang Viet commune. The plots of land have an area of 87.4 - 155m2 and also have a starting price of 1.5 million VND/m2.
The Hanoi People's Committee has recently sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, districts and towns to direct solutions related to the land auction situation. Accordingly, the People's Committee requested localities to evaluate the effectiveness of land allocation and lease through auctions, especially avoiding auctions in areas with low starting prices, not enough to cover the costs of site clearance and infrastructure investment. These lands can be converted to serve resettlement or public works, contributing to supporting projects in the area.
