On the afternoon of September 10, the Land Fund Development Center of Phuc Tho District (Hanoi) coordinated with Lac Viet Joint Stock Auction Company to organize an auction of land use rights for 50 plots of land in 3 communes in the area.
The plots of land to be auctioned include 30 plots in Doc Tranh area, Trach My Loc commune; 9 plots in Dong Phuong area, Tho Loc commune and 11 plots in Huong Nam area, Xuan Dinh commune.
The auction attracted nearly 200 people and more than 400 valid applications. The plots of land ranged in area from 97.1 - 162.9 m2, with starting prices from 19.8 - 25 million VND/m2. The deposit customers had to pay in advance was nearly 400 - 762 million VND/plot.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of Land Fund Development Center of Phuc Tho district (Hanoi) said that the number of applications this time is less than previous times.
The auction ended on the afternoon of September 10 with the highest winning price of 69.8 million VND/m2. This land plot has an area of nearly 112m2, with a total value of nearly 6.3 billion VND, 3 times higher than the starting price of 23.4 million VND/m2.
There are also a number of other plots of land with winning prices ranging from 43.8 to 59.2 million VND/m2. The lowest winning plot costs more than 26 million VND/m2, an increase of more than 31% compared to the starting price of 19.8 million VND/m2.
Previously, on August 29, the land auction of Phuc Tho district attracted more than 650 applications and about 350 investors participated and was successful when 39 land lots all found owners. The highest winning price was recorded at 60 million VND/m2.
This is a relatively high auction price compared to the price level in Phuc Tho district because some areas with wide roads, full social infrastructure and utilities are only from 30 - 40 million VND/m2.
Some brokers in the land auction area said that the winning price for the lots on September 10 was high and set a new peak in Phuc Tho district.
