Breaking monopoly, opening the door for development from planning
On the morning of March 28, the People's Committee of Khanh Son district organized the announcement of the construction planning project of Khanh Son area, Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2050 and a conference on investment promotion.
According to Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Chairman of Khanh Son District People's Committee, in February 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 531/QD-UBND, approving the planning project.
With a natural area of over 33,853 hectares and a population of nearly 14,700 people, Khanh Son district is oriented to develop according to the model of a small ecological urban area of mountains and forests.
Taking advantage of the favorable climate conditions and characteristic forest systems, prioritizing the development of urban areas with high density of ecological trees.
It is a center for tourism, culture and ecology associated with clean agricultural production, including forest biodiversity conservation.
According to the Khanh Son plan, it will be oriented into 3 sub-regions. In particular, the 1st sub-region has an area of 13,103 hectares, developing tourism, urban and residential areas, exploiting infrastructure values and landscapes - unique visions, combined with ensuring national defense and security.
Sub-region 2 with a natural area of 8,191 hectares, will be an ecological area for agricultural and forestry landscapes, interspersed with eco-cultural tourism services, associated with local climate conditions; prioritizing community - cultural tourism models, eco-tourism, and experiential tourism.
Sub-region 3 is an agricultural - forestry area - encouraging the development of eco-cultural tourism, with a total natural area of 2,559 hectares. This is a place to develop high-yield agriculture and industrial crops, form agricultural ecological zones, intertune tourism services with sightseeing tourism models, adventure tourism at high mountain peaks with beautiful views...
Khanh Son opens to welcome investors
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Chairman of Khanh Son District People's Committee emphasized that the construction planning project of Khanh Son district, Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2050, is a very important event for the district.

At the program, Khanh Son District People's Committee performed a signing ceremony for cooperation on digital transformation with Viettel Khanh Hoa, cooperated in training tourism human resources with Nha Trang Tourism College; cooperated in connecting supply and demand to promote agricultural consumption with Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Group Joint Stock Company.
According to Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Secretary of Khanh Son District Party Committee, the approved planning is the foundation for Khanh Son to build preferential policies, welcome investors to invest and develop sustainably in Khanh Son.
