At the same time, after nearly 30 years of use, all construction items have seriously degraded.
Currently, the headquarters of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police and the headquarters of the offices are arranged to be scattered, the land area is small, the construction is patchwork and broken, so it is very difficult to work, especially in the coordination and cooperation between the units.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee determined that the investment in building the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police headquarters at the new location is extremely necessary and urgent.
For the headquarters of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police at 80 Tran Phu, Nha Trang will in the future be handed over to the locality for management to promote socio-economic development.
In 2023, the Ministry of Public Security also agreed with the proposal of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, advising the Prime Minister to approve the Security Land Use Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Accordingly, the location of land plot No. 80 Tran Phu, Nha Trang City has been removed from the security land use planning and a new security land fund has been added at the planning location of Khanh Hoa Provincial Administrative Center.
Based on this, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee reported to Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, asking for consensus on the project of the working headquarters of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police. The new construction location is in Vinh Thai commune, Nha Trang city (location according to the New Administrative Center Planning of Khanh Hoa province) with a total investment of 986 billion VND.
