At the dialogue, Hai An ward leaders listened to and accepted the opinions and recommendations of 14 households using land within the project recovery scope on compensation, support and resettlement. At the same time, it will answer problems and create consensus, contributing to speeding up the implementation of key projects of the city.
Hai An ward leaders emphasized that the Ring Road 2 project is an important transport infrastructure project, when completed, it will synchronously connect areas inside and outside the city, expand urban space, promote socio-economic development, and improve people's lives. Therefore, the People's Committee of Hai An Ward requests that households strictly comply with the policy of land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement policies in accordance with the provisions of law; actively coordinate with competent authorities, promptly hand over the site, contributing to speeding up the project construction progress for the common benefit of the community and the sustainable development of the locality.
This Ring Road 2 construction project is a group A project, a special-level traffic project, with a total investment of over VND 7,000 billion; fully invested by the city budget, of which construction cost is nearly VND 4,150 billion; site clearance cost is more than VND 2,200 billion. The project's site clearance area is nearly 113 hectares, reclaiming land from nearly 1,650 households and 30 organizations. The project started on March 11, 2025, striving to complete on May 13, 2028.
Recently, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau directed the authorities of Hai An, Hung Dao, and Kien An wards where the project passes through to mobilize the participation of the entire political system and organizations to propagate and mobilize organizations and individuals to promptly agree and hand over the site for construction. No later than October 2025, localities must complete site clearance.
Hai An Ward has organized many propaganda and mobilization sessions at each household with reclaimed land to implement the project. Up to now, many households with land within the scope of the investment project to build Ring Road 2, Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien section have voluntarily handed over the site, creating conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.
