On July 15, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - led a working group to survey the progress of the D7 Project and the Residential Area on both sides of the road invested by Tien Giang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (TICCO), located in Trung An ward, Dong Thap province.
This is one of the key projects that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have directed to pay attention to, in order to serve the goal of urban development, expand residential space and especially meet the urgent need for social housing for cadres, civil servants, workers and low-income people.
Through a field survey, Mr. Phan Van Thang highly appreciated the efforts of the enterprise in implementing the project in the right planning direction, with a spacious scale, integrating many functions and favorable locations, not far from the provincial center.
Mr. Thang emphasized: The Provincial Party Committee and government will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for businesses, especially in removing administrative procedures and supporting site clearance work, so that the project can be completed and put into use soon.
It is known that Project D7 and Residential Area on both sides of the road have a total land area for project implementation of 7,248m2. Of which, there are 193 houses, including 13 commercial houses and 180 social housing units. The project was started by Tien Giang province (old) on April 29, 2025. However, up to now, there is still 1 household that has not agreed due to the high compensation request.
Recognizing this reality, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Van Thang suggested that the locality continue to persistently mobilize and propagate, ensure the harmony of the legitimate interests and rights of the people, contribute to stabilizing the situation and maintaining the overall progress of the project.
