A big fire at night at Lot 6 market in Ho Chi Minh City burned down many kiosks

HCMC - On July 15, HCMC Police were still blocking off, examining the scene, and investigating the cause of the fire at many Lot 6 market kiosks in An Nhon Tay commune.

In the early morning of July 15, people discovered a fire flaring up fiercely accompanied by a column of high black smoke in the area of Lo 6 market kiosk, located right at the intersection between Do Dang Tuyen Street and Provincial Road 7, in An Nhon Tay Commune.

Some people nearby quickly used mini fire extinguishers and water to control the initial fire but were unsuccessful. The fire then spread to neighboring kiosks and continued to burn fiercely.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police (HCMC Police) mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. A few minutes later, the fire was controlled.

Fortunately, at the time of the incident, there were no people in the kiosks.

A representative of the People's Committee of An Nhon Tay commune confirmed that the fire did not cause any human casualties. Professional firefighters were present in time and handled the situation quickly.

The police are conducting statistics on property damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
