The University of Information Technology - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City has announced the expected floor score for admission methods in 2025.
In particular, with the admission method based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the school said that it will only consider candidates with exam results in 2025. The expected admission score is 700/1,200 points for all majors.
Admission scores include exam scores, plus scores and priority points, of which the maximum bonus score is 120 points for candidates with an international language certificate according to the school's regulations.
With the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the school plans to only consider candidates with a score of 22.5 or higher. In particular, the microchip design major requires candidates to achieve 24 points, of which Math is at least 8 points.
In 2025, the University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) will use 2 admission methods, including: Direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the school (accounting for 1-5% of the total target). The comprehensive admission method includes criteria on academic performance, other abilities, and social activities (accounting for 95-99% of the total target).
In which, the comprehensive admission method is calculated on a scale of 100. Admission floor score is from 50 points.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade plans to have a floor score for the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam at 16 points for all majors.
Admission scores are calculated by the total scores of the three subjects in the admission combination (not multiplied by coefficient), not adding priority points by area or subject.
For the admission method using the results of the competency assessment exam (DGNL) organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the expected floor score is 600 points for the majors.
For the group of Law majors, the threshold for ensuring input quality has a total minimum score of 720 points, at the same time the minimum Vietnamese language score is 180 points and the minimum Math score is 180 points.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, at Ho Chi Minh City's main campus, the method of considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the mass program takes a floor score from 650 points (not multiplied by coefficient; not accumulated priority points and not applied to the group of Law majors).
For regular universities in the English-language enhancement program, the floor score for admission is from 600 points (not multiplied by coefficient; not accumulated priority points and not applicable to the group of Law majors).
For the Law major group, the floor score for admission documents is 720 points, and the minimum score for Vietnamese and Mathematical languages is 180.
The admission score using high school academic results in grade 12 combined with outstanding achievements (if any): total score of 3 subjects (not multiplied by coefficient; not including priority points, plus points) in the admission combination is at least 21 points.
For the group of Law majors: The minimum admission score for Math and Literature is 6.0 points.
For the pharmaceutical major: The application threshold is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination from 24 points and the academic performance of grade 12 is classified as good.
At Quang Ngai branch: The method of considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University must achieve 600 points or more.
The admission threshold using high school academic results in grade 12 combined with outstanding achievements (if any): The admission threshold is the total score of 3 subjects (excluding coefficients; not including priority points, plus points) in the admission combination of at least 19 points.
