In recent years, the implementation of social housing projects has attracted the attention of many localities in Thai Nguyen, aiming to improve living conditions for workers and low-income laborers.
This is one of the important directions in the goal of urban development associated with sustainable security.
The Dai Thang residential area project, invested by TNG LAND Joint Stock Company, started construction in April 2024 with a total investment of more than 700 billion VND.

The project is located in Van Xuan and Pho Yen wards (formerly Dong Tien and Bai Bong wards, Pho Yen city), close to the Thai Nguyen - Hanoi expressway, near industrial parks, hospitals and schools.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented on an area of over 11 hectares, of which nearly 1 hectare is reserved for the construction of social housing.
This category includes 34 2-storey townhouses and an 18-storey apartment building with 361 apartments. The area of each apartment ranges from 26.7m2 to 70m2, arranged from 1 to 3 rooms, meeting the accommodation needs of about 800 people.
On July 17, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that technical infrastructure such as internal traffic routes and lighting systems have been basically completed.
At the construction site, machinery and human resources are mobilized to urgently construct. Apartment building 18 has basically completed the rough construction and is entering the completion stage. Adjacent houses are also being deployed simultaneously.


As a worker working in an industrial park in the area, Ms. Nguyen Thi Linh (Ngan Son, Thai Nguyen) said she was very happy to know that the social housing project was about to be completed and was considering borrowing to buy an apartment in installments to stabilize it in the long term.
According to Ms. Linh, many workers like her are currently renting a room in cramped rooms. Meanwhile, the price of social housing is relatively suitable for income, close to the workplace.
"Having a house near the company, we have less difficulty moving, reduce living expenses and work more securely. I really hope the project will be completed soon and there will be loan support for workers to access, Ms. Linh expressed.
According to the Project Management Board, up to now, the construction volume of the apartment part has reached about 90%. Previously, 34 townhouses were handed over to people in early March.

The social housing apartments in the project are designed for low-income workers, in which the smallest apartment costs more than 300 million VND, the largest apartment costs about 800 million VND.
This price is considered suitable for the ability of many workers and laborers working in industrial parks in the area.
Previously, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Canh Hung - an officer supervising the Project Management Board, the unit is currently completing the final items such as planting trees, connecting electricity and water infrastructure... It is expected to complete the procedures and hand over in the third quarter of 2025.
This is a key and meaningful project, accelerating construction and completing the project soon will contribute to realizing the policy of developing social housing associated with stabilizing the lives of workers and laborers in the area.
