Gia Loc pays more than 13.2 billion VND to serve the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project

Hai Phong - Gia Loc commune pays more than 13.2 billion VND in compensation and support to 103 households whose land was recovered to serve the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.

On September 15, implementing the decisions approving the compensation and support plan when the State recovers land to implement Component Project 2: Investment in railway construction under the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction project, Gia Loc commune, Hai Phong city continued to organize the payment of compensation and site clearance support money to households whose land was recovered in Cham, Duc Dai 1 and Duc Dai 2 villages.

Accordingly, 48 households and individuals in Cham village were paid compensation and support with a total cost of more than 5 billion VND. The total recovered land area is 7,306 m2, of which more than 6,800 m2 of rice land is within the land clearance area and more than 483 m2 of rice land is the remaining small area, difficult to cultivate outside the land clearance area.

In Duc Dai 1 and Duc Dai 2 villages, 55 households and individuals were compensated and supported with a total recovered land area of more than 11,357 m2, of which rice land recovered within the land clearance area was 9,684.9 m2, and the remaining small and difficult-to-cultivate land outside the land clearance area was 1,672.2 m2. The total approved compensation and support cost is more than 8.2 billion VND.

The organization of payment is carried out according to the approved plan, ensuring publicity, transparency, correct subjects, correct regimes and correct regulations.

The work of paying compensation and support contributes to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people, creating consensus among the people, accelerating the progress of site clearance, contributing to the implementation of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project through Gia Loc commune as planned.
