Ms. Do Thi Xuan Mai - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Ben Tre Province - said that currently, there are 2 households that have not yet handed over the clean land of the Phu Thuan Industrial Park Project. Of which, 1 household is considering settlement on resettlement, and 1 household is waiting for settlement on compensation unit price. This October, the People's Committee of Binh Dai District will resolve the issue with the above 2 households to carry out site clearance.
Regarding the construction progress of Phu Thuan Industrial Park project, 6 construction packages are currently under construction. Of which, the traffic road section is about 6.4/9.2km (70%) of the traffic road, and the leveling of about 44/176.6ha (25%) of the land area for lease to investors.
Specifically, the construction of N3, D1 and D3 roads (section from N3 to N4) has a cross-section of N3 road of 34m, D1 and D3 roads of 28m. Construction of these routes began on July 6, 2023. To date, the volume has reached VND 80.86 billion/VND 101.5 billion (79.7% of the contract value). These routes are being paved with asphalt concrete.
For the construction of D2 road (with a cross-section of 34m, starting construction from July 6, 2023), the construction volume reached 64.44 billion/119.12 billion VND (54.1% of the contract value). For the construction of N1 - N4 road (starting construction from April 15, 2024), the volume reached 12.57/130.27 billion VND (9.6% of the contract value); installing stormwater drainage culverts, pumping sand on the roadbed...
Up to now, the total construction volume of the packages being implemented is estimated at more than 60.6%.
According to the report of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil and Industrial Works of Ben Tre province, up to now, 1,091/1,093 households affected by the investment and construction project of Phu Thuan industrial park have agreed to hand over the site.
The Phu Thuan Industrial Park Project (Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province) has a total investment of over VND 3,539 billion, invested by the Ben Tre Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board. Of which, the provincial budget is over VND 3,443 billion, the remaining from non-budgetary sources is over VND 96.3 billion.
The project implementation period is from 2017-2025, the construction site is in Phu Thuan and Long Dinh communes (Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province). The project's goal is to focus on developing industries, creating large revenue sources for the budget and creating jobs for the society. In addition, it also accelerates the pace of urbanization and rural development, basically completing important economic and social infrastructure in Ben Tre province.
