The Ninh Cuong bridge construction project across the Ninh Co River on National Highway 37B with a total investment of more than 800 billion VND is being focused on by localities of Ninh Binh province to accelerate site clearance (GPMB).
Recorded by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in Nghia Hung commune, compensation, support, resettlement (TĐC) and site clearance are being implemented urgently and methodically by the locality. Along with publicizing policies and compensation plans, local authorities regularly propagate, dialogue, and answer people's concerns, thereby creating consensus in the project implementation process.
According to Nghia Hung Commune People's Committee, the project has more than 24,000m2 of land belonging to 60 households, individuals and organizations subject to recovery. Up to now, the entire area of agricultural land has been handed over to the construction unit.
Mr. Tran Van Thuan (in Nghia Hung commune) said: "My family has both rice fields and residential land in the area to be recovered for project implementation. After being propagated and explained clearly by the local government about compensation, support and resettlement policies, my family agreed and coordinated to carry out procedures according to regulations. We hope the project will be completed soon to make travel more convenient and contribute to local economic development.
According to Mr. Duong Van Thiep - Chairman of Nghia Hung Commune People's Committee, up to now, the site clearance work in the area is basically thuận lợi thanks to the consensus and support of the people. After completing the handover of agricultural land, the locality is focusing on solving the remaining tasks for residential land to ensure progress according to the province's requirements.
Not only in Nghia Hung commune, site clearance work in Ninh Cuong commune is also being promoted.
It is known that Ninh Cuong commune has 81 households and individuals subject to land acquisition to implement the Ninh Cuong bridge construction project. Local authorities are closely coordinating with relevant units to accelerate the work of inventorying and completing compensation dossiers, ensuring land handover on schedule.
To ensure the project implementation progress, Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has issued a document directing the implementation of compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance. Accordingly, Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 is assigned to coordinate with the People's Committees of Ninh Cuong and Nghia Hung communes to focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, striving to complete the handover of land to the investor according to the plan.
The synchronous deployment of compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance is expected to create conditions for the project to accelerate construction. When completed and put into operation, Ninh Cuong bridge will contribute to completing transport infrastructure, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, creating motivation to attract investment and promote socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province as well as neighboring areas.
