In September 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province held working sessions with investors to listen to reports on implementation progress, and at the same time discuss and answer problems at 9 renewable energy projects.
The projects include: Song Giang 1 Hydropower Plant; Phuoc Hoa rechargeable hydropower plant; Phuoc Huu wind power plant; Vietnam Power No. 1 Phong Power Plant; Cong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant - Phase 1; Cong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant - Phase 2; Phuoc Nam - Enfinity - Ninh Thuan renewable energy power plant; Phuoc Dan wind power plant.
Most of the projects have basically completed some legal procedures and deposits for implementation.
However, many projects still face difficulties in: calculating financial plans, analyzing investment efficiency when put into commercial operation; planning and land use plans at the commune level have not been updated in a timely manner, leading to legal problems.

Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang acknowledged the difficulties of investors, and at the same time requested businesses to urgently complete feasibility study reports, connection procedures, site clearance... to ensure progress, and put the project into operation according to plan.
At the same time, it is required that departments, branches and localities focus on handling the appraisal of documents, updating land use plans, guiding investors to complete legal procedures and implement bidding in accordance with regulations.
