According to Vice Chairman of Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) Nguyen Manh Hien, in 2026, Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee will focus on implementing site clearance (GPMB) for 3 key projects assigned by the City People's Committee, including: Olympic Urban Area Project; Ring Road 3.5 construction project (section from Phuc La - Van Phu to Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway); provincial road 70 construction project (section Ha Dong - Van Dien - Tu Hiep intersection).
Leaders of Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee emphasized that the above 3 key projects are identified as top priority tasks, requiring synchronous and drastic involvement of the entire political system from the commune to the village.
For the Olympic Sports Urban Area project, immediately after the project commencement ceremony on December 19, 2025, the Commune People's Committee closely coordinated with the investor and the survey consulting unit to determine the project boundary, review villages with land within the recovery boundary, and agree on measurement plans and land ownership.
From December 24 to December 31, 2025, the commune organized ownership recognition of more than 12,652 plots out of a total of about 14,768 plots, reaching 85.67%.
The Commune People's Committee sets a target that in January 2026, it will approve and pay compensation to households who agree; strive to complete the approval of compensation, support and resettlement plans for the project in February 2026.
For the Ring Road 3.5 construction project (section from Phuc La - Van Phu to Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway), the commune focuses on accelerating the work of planting markers and determining boundaries, and is expected to start implementing site clearance from February 2026.
The project to build Highway 70, Ha Dong - Van Dien - Tu Hiep intersection section, is completing infrastructure data collection, submitting the feasibility study and project approval in April 2026; expected to organize site clearance from June 2026.
Through review, the number of graves to be relocated at 3 key projects is very large. The Commune People's Committee has reported and requested the policy of the City People's Committee, and at the same time arranged land funds to relocate graves, ensuring compliance with customs, habits and legitimate aspirations of the people.
Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dai Thanh commune Dang Duc Quynh emphasized that site clearance for major projects such as Ring Road 3.5, Road 70, especially the Olympic Sports Urban Area project are difficult and complex tasks, directly related to the rights of the people.
Therefore, the entire political system must get involved synchronously and drastically, with the highest political determination, implementing according to the motto "6 clears", saying is done, doing is finished; valuing propaganda and mobilization work; resolutely implementing legal regulations, the site clearance process ensures publicity, transparency, democracy, and maintains stability and security in the area.
