According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, on March 9, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 326/QD - TTg allocating national land use planning targets for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and the 5-year national land use plan 2021 - 2025.

Hai Duong province requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to report to the Prime Minister to supplement the province with 15,327 hectares of land. The above area is for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction project; Specialized economic zone; Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism area; Vinh Tru Islet, Eco-Sports and Entertainment Area; Nam Song Sat Urban Area; Cuu An Golf Course Cultural Tourism and Ecological Urban Area, Ninh Giang District along Cuu An River; Hai Duong City Central Park; 4 golf courses...
