The Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee announced that area B of Do Son International Hotel Project with an area of 25,297.4 m2 is being managed and used by Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company (according to the Decisions of the City People's Committee: No. 344/QD-UBND dated February 6, 2002, No. 2549/QD-UBND dated October 1, 2018) is subject to revocation due to violations of land laws as prescribed in Clause 8, Article 81 of the 2024 Land Law (formerly Point i, Clause 1, Article 64 of the 2013 Land Law). Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company is not compensated for land, assets attached to the land and remaining land input costs.
The City People's Committee requested Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company to urgently relocate assets on the land after 45 days from November 21, 2025. After the above deadline, the assets that have not been relocated from the land are determined to no longer need to be used, the City People's Committee will continue to carry out the procedures for land recovery due to violations of land law according to regulations and will not be responsible for the assets that have not been relocated from the above land.
In case Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company does not comply, the People's Committee of Do Son Ward will be assigned to enforce the implementation of the land recovery decision according to regulations.
Previously, the City People's Committee issued Decision No. 344/QD-UBND dated February 6, 2002 on allowing Nam Cuong Trading - Tourism Company Limited (now Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company) to lease land to invest in building a Tourism and Entertainment Center in Van Son Ward, old Do Son Town, No. 2549/QD-UBND dated October 1, 2018 on allowing Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company to adjust the land use term to implement the Do Son International Hotel Construction Investment Project in Van Son Ward, Do Son District; No. 1675/QD-UBND on extending the land use progress for the old Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company to implement the Ho Son International Hotel and Tourism Center Construction Project (O Son Ward, Do Son District).
